Solved why can't people join my group?

I have people telling me they can't join my group, they have never joined my group and when they go to register it says there email address is already in use, when I look up there email address it is NOT there. So how can they join my group?

yes, after much looking I accidently fixed it. I didn't know that inactive had to be reactivated. I'm very sorry for bothering you. Thankyou
