Also maybe tell us how long it will take etc. so we can at least let our members know whan to log back on

Can it be so difficult to just let us know what is going on?

Some forums work while some don't. I think the newer forums are those who won't work, based on the ones I've tried to access

maybe admin just decided to change foreigner websites. maybe their incomplete translation
be optimistic

but really what's going on?

I'm all for upgrades, fixes and so on.
But they could just have let us know so we could have put on a general anouncement or something for our members.

my site worked for 2 min and i logged onto the admin panel and it got maintenance again and even when i go on the main page it will have maintenance
