Forum locked, no new member registration link shown

I created a new forum today, and despite following MrMario's idiot-proof post in the FAQ, it's still locked and I can't create a link for new members to register. Any suggestions?

The register button should be in the navbars. What do you mean by locked? What'd you do?

When I preview the forum http://mgmo.forumotion.com/ there is a line of text reading "forum locked" in the lower right-hand corner.

And I haven't done anything except try to create a forum and follow the FAQ post.

That's the tutorial you used, please re-do it, and follow it carefully.

if you are asking about the icon under the forum as it is shown in the picture on the right hand side

it doesnt mean that your forum is locked
but it is refering to if it is locked for example a black dot will appear like pointed to yo by colors in the picture
this icon will be shown beside each forum under each category

i hope i understood you right
