Need Help with homepage

How do you do this as the homepage etc because i would like to try it on my foru? (This is my friends forum and he uses forumotion)

Oh, The Portal Page he Tricked It Out lolz, ok To Do This, Do The Following :
Admin Panel > Advanced Mode > Modules > Portal Management > Portal Page > Action : Structure > Then Edit The Page... Then Your Done and stuff xD

But after you make the page how can you make it your homepage!? Like when you go to the website how can you make it start on that page?

Create an html page, there is an option to make it a homepage while creating the html page.
