Solved Forum turned to basic HTML, with no skin. Why?

Post by Deathspawn September 19th 2009, 02:39

Yea, I have been noticing a problem with my forum a couple times today. At first I thought it was because I made an error in the template editing, but like an hour ago, it was fine. Now there is no skin and everything looks like basic HTML and I haven't done anything within the time it worked till now. Are servers having problems or something? Screenshot below (The background color is white, but the screenshot shows black.... dunno why, but disregard it. It shows white for me.)

No, actually now the entire forum is missing, and only the header is there.

(See the forum page, not main.)

No, there should be like 6 sections there, but there is nothing.... not even the announcements. This happened earlier today and it fixed itself and then went back to this.

Yeah, if it doesn't fix here in the next day or two, I am moving to another forum host.

Hmm, looks like I might have made an error in the template editing... Odd, I used the same template and it worked before, then stopped. I was trying to stick a widget on the bottom of my forum and had it working perfect, but then this happened. I will mark this as solved then, since it appears to be my own error.

Add in: For future reference, careful with trying to put extra scripts in the overall_new_header section on the templates. Fixed the spoiler tag and will write up a tutorial on how to do this in a bit.
