Invalid mail adress!!! help !!

Hi there - i have big problem- all new users that want to register with my forum - got Invalid mail agress message - their adresses i checked and realy they should work- can somebody help me?
e-mail adresses: like: azbel1@hotmail.com,walla.co.il

Concerning the first adress (***@hotmail.com), sometimes the mail contening the activation key is considered as spam, so tell the members having this problem to check their spam problems

For the other mail adresses :

How can i set my forum to be without mail activation?

Plase help, some of my friends already give up signing my forum.

hi all its drool, firstly why on earth has this still not been sorted out the topic has some old posts now this problem is serious as it gets if ppl cant join guess what that = no forum activity there its useless



im having the same problem please admins dont send me dns report replys...it solves nothing ive investigated every setting we dont have a setting controlling the scripts for email verifications etc the host controls this therefore i would like mine sorting if its not too much hassle please...
please note ive tried a full clan trying all there email address and none of them can join so i have a problem..

its to do with the email its qouting invalid email address when registering


please could you let me know when this is gonna be sorted i did pay for adds removed etc and id pay for the site as i like the looks ive built for it etc so please help

We are going to try a new script this morning to allowed more email adresses to be accepted. In fact the problem is that each email is tested on a mail server to check if it's really exists (in order to prevent a lot of spambots). So if the answer is negative, the email is considered as invalid, and it appears to be often the case with work email.

I hope the new script will solve this problem.

its worse if anything i did a check..60 of my clan members tried to register yes 60 over 2 days and only 10 got through to been registered so hopefully this helps to confirm that whatever editbaord are using to check emails is so so sorry got to use this word NACKERED <ouch spoke to phpbb they had issuess ages back about it they sorted it they stated to me that its upto the editboard host to resolve even though all forums are phpbb powered (erm baffleing)

I've got a response.

Actually, the Editboard owner (the big boss) forgot to update the script (nobody's perfect ), so it's still the old one which is in place. The changes should be done today or next Monday.

Sorry, but my problem wasn´t solved.

Users can´t registrate with mails ended with @forumpsp.net

What should I do?

Is @forumpsp.net a intranet (or localhost) adress ? How can you have this type of adress ?

I think it´s an intranet adress, but i´m waiting for confirmation...

It´s confirmed and they say that´s regular mail address.

Intranet adresses are not allowed for security reasons, you must use an "internet" adress as hotmail or gmail.

But they said that´s a normal internet adress....

nobody say nothing...

You should use a gmail or hotmail adress, as Gautamas said
