Description of problem

User cannot register with email @pacbell.net. Error message is "Sorry, but this e-mail address is invalid"

yes, I can confirm your issue:


Maybe the domain has been blacklisted by mistake
The best option is to wait for @Luzz (the Pro Admin from the head office) so that she can check the status of that domain on our service

ps: have you tried registering with that email address even on other forums on forumotion? Just to understand if it's a more systemic issue, or something only related to your forum

Hello @leeelson yes this is not a known Email address on our system so it would not take it. my advice is to ask your member to make an account using one of the following.
Live,
Hotmail,
Gmail,
Yahoo,

Once the account is made you can always edit the members profile and put the one he or she wants after the account has been made.

Tried this. Doesn't work. Same error. I'd expect that since the new email gets checked. @pacbell.net must have many users. Blacklisting all is a mistake, IMHO

Don't have access to other forums on forumotion. More significantly, no other similar problems found via Google on other forums. Only forumotion forums.

The problem is what they have said, it is not a mail server accepted by forummotion, so it may be blocked in a forum spam list and it will not allow anyone to register with it. Recommend these servers to your users,

yahoo

You should wait for @Luzz.She can review it.
