How to change your Favicon

I need some help on how to change our Favicon. I've read and done the stuff in FAQ but it is still not working. Was wondering if I could get some help on this please. Thanks!

Did you add the forum favicon url in the admin panel??

Yes I did..in ICO format and it is not showing up.

I can get it to show in Firefox but not IE...any where I can get some that are compatiable with both browsers? Thanks!
