Update the Forum ???

Hello

I have a forumtion Forum phpBB.

I see a Message in AP
"Only templates of phpbb2 or PunBB versions will be affected"

My Questions:

1. Can i update without Problems ?
2. What is better with a Update?
3. Will i lost my Topics or Members if i update?
4. How much Time is the Forum Down if i update?

The template editing is only features on PbpBB2 & PunBB as you ahve said.

As for your questions:
1)If you haven't edited the templates previously then you don't need to worry about adding in new codes for the updates; It's been done for you
