my background colour

hello
as a start
i am trying to change my background colour .. its was something like gray or something and i changed it into black and i saw it changing in that small box next to the options i tick on the RIGHT MARK then i click save .. then i went to preview forum button and it was like nothing happen
i need help please. thnx

Try doing it with CSS.
Go to Admin Panel > Display > Colors > CSS.
Put this code there and submit.

Code:

body {
background-color : green !important;
background-image : none !important;
}

You can change color green to any.

well ok thank you i already dealed with this one by changing the skin and customizing it again

i would like to get my old skin buttons and stuff
any way to do it ?

You can change/add buttons and images in Admin CP > Display > Pics Management > Advanced Mode.

i know i can do it .. but i dont have the old buttons ?

i didnt back up the buttons while changing the skins

To get the old buttons, you can install old theme again and save buttons.
Alternatively, go to Hitskin.com, see the preview of the old theme and you can get the buttons from there.

EDIT :

You can also restore the old theme from Admin CP > Display > Theme Management > Restore Theme.

ok i am on it right now ..
but there's something else needed .. i want to make all the forum topic and categories visible to guests and bots but i want in the same time .. when they try to enter it it automaically redirects them to the log-in
so as a summary ...
guests can see everything from out side but cant access from the inside

For that you can go to Admin CP > General > Categories & Forums > Click on button to change permission > Advanced Mode > Change permission as per you need.

You just have to untick 'Read Topics' for guest and tick 'View the forum' for guest.
