Can't Get Edit Button To Show Up For Members

I've been having problems with the edit button showing up for member's who make a post in a thread.

I did a search of the forum's here and did everything suggested. Nothing seems to work. In every catagory I created, Member's are allowed to edit their own posts, but none can see it. At all.

I've even signed in as a member using a different name, make a post and there's no edit button.

Did you make sure you have your permission's on your forums set so they can edit?

Admin Panel>>General>>Categories and Forums>>Click modify on the forum you want to be able to edit on>>Then hit permissions

I checked that. Under Advanced, there's a check mark in the box that says, Edit own messages.

It's like that for every single catagory/forum I have. Member can Edit it's
own messages. But, they can't.

I'm stumped.

Do you have the image?

Admin Panel >> Display Tab >> Pic Management >> Simple Mode >> Post & topics >> go to the bottom and look for edit and see if there is a picture

If not you will need to add it.

I have an image. I even changed it.

I can see it when I post, but Member's cannot see an edit button.

Like I said, I signed up as a regular member, made a post and did not see an edit button After I clicked send.

This is solved.

I went to Email and Messages Configuration. Put a checkmark in none and saved.

It worked.
