Members cant see edit button

Well a member was complaing that he couldn't see the edit button so I checked it out using the "JBC TESTER" (test account) on my site and hes right but somehow admins can see it but not normal members can anyone help me out here?

Have you allowed members to edit their posts?

I am not to sure where do i find out this?

ACP=>General Tab=>Forum=>Categories and forums=>Choose forum=>Permissions=>Advanced Mode=>Edit its own messages=>Tick/tick off=>Save

Done that and they're ticked Yes. To say they can edit they're messages.

I don't know if this would work,but it's worth a try...

Go to your Administration Panel
=>Display Tab=>Pictures and Colors=>Pics management=>Advanced Mode=>Buttons=>Scroll down to the edit button=>Remove the URL,and re-enter it=>Save

Done that but now every time I re enter the url it wont change back and will stay empty.
