adding a button to my homepage

Hey Guys Again

im asking all of this advice

I have my homepage set up, how do i add a button to it, so it takes you to the forum?

for example.. it will say TO FORUM and when you click to forum it takes you to the page, how do i achieve this?

there are different ways of doing this but i only know the hard way, what ive done is added a forum intro when you click on the link to my forum, on it there is a button (i made in flash) that says to the forum, but that is hard to do, your better fo listening to someone who knows

Okay, does anyone else know?...

all i want is for a name to have a link inside side, so as you click it, it takes you to another page

Admin Panel >> Display Tab >> Under Homepage >> Generalities >> Your forum redirects to : >> Pick what you want >> Save

okay but the problem is the circles are grey, i need to activate the portal to be able to do it?
