How do you make another Group that is like the admins?

Hi again.

I was wanting to make another group that is a admin apprentice. This admin apprentice will not have all the diffrent options as the admin, but will be able to do something that a admin can do. Does anyone know how I can do this?

there either admins with admin permissions or they are not admins.

you can have them all in the admin group then also have them in another group called something else. but they will then have all admin permissions.
or you can have them in a separate group and just give them mod permissions.

but if they are in the main admin group there is no way to take certain permissions away.. if an admin they have full admin permissions unless they are mods with mod permissions.

this is the only way

Well do you know How I can make another group that is a admin group? I tryed but I am only able to add a member to the admin group I already have.

You need to add him to the admin group. Or else he wont get admin access.

yes you have to have them in the admin group first. then you can add them to the other group too. they will still have admin powers since the are also in the official admin group.

But I was wanting 2 admin groups. Can I do this? I was wanting a admin group and a admin apprentice group. They can be 2 diffrent groups but with the say admin powers. Thanks.

Only one group can have admin rights with admin panel. If you want to have a admin group has the same permissions without having the admin panel access just go to permissions in the categories & Forums and check everything

Here is how you can do it:

Have a group called admins and another called admins
1 admin group will have powers to the admin panel. That group will be hidden.
The other one will be open.
If you want people to get on the admin panel, they will be in the hidden admin group.
