Trouble with images in a widget

I have just registered my forum on 1award, and Im having trouble creating a clickable image to go through to 1award and installing the correct link in my widget.

They sent me an image in email, I uploaded it to photobucket, added the text link and created my widget. When I looked, I have a clicky image but this clicks through to my photobucket account, and the text link just comes up in writing on my forum.

This is the steps in the email it told me to do

1. A vote picture is attached to this email. (Do not copy and paste the picture directly from your email as it will not show on your site)
2. Save the picture to your computer then upload it to your site.
3. Add the vote link picture to your web page or message board.
4. Add your site text link to the picture and save your page.

But I cannot upload it straight from my computer onto the forum create widget section, so I have to upload it via photobucket.
Can someone help me figure this out please?
