Solved Some help with my arcade.

Post by rob0213 December 11th 2009, 11:58 pm

Ok, I have a Forum set up called Arcade, and each topic is a different game. I was wondering a few things:

1) Can I add a button to my menu, labeled "arcade" that members can click on to go right to it, instead of having it in a forum/topics? If so, how do I do this?

2) And what are some of the best places to go to get games for my arcade?

I am still new to this, so if anyone can help me, you'll need to explain a lot, lol. sorry! I'm still not even sure what HTML is or how I can use it. I'm a noob, so be gentle!

I think this thread answers adding an arcade button to your navigation bar question: https://help.forumotion.com/other-problems-f46/how-to-add-a-short-cut-name-or-link-to-another-website-on-the-menu-bar-t60358.htm

I was able to locate headers and navigation under Display, rather than the General specified in that thread.

As far as games, a couple sites you can take a look at: http://www.ultimatearcade.com/ or http://www.ikoncity.com/home/games.aspx

You can create a button on your navigation menu by :

ACP=>Display Tab=>Homepage=>Headers & Navigation=>Navigation Links=>Add a customized menu

From there, you can create new buttons for your navigation menu, Wink

Those websites that MMI suggested are good, but here is another one, Some help with my arcade. Redface

=> http://www.iwebbuddy.com/Casino-Classics-h6.htm

The arcade is still in development, so some categories might be missing.
