Setting Default Font for Posts

Someone asked this question on my forum: "is there a way to set a default font for my posts? Like since I use Georgia Italics... instead of having to highlight everything and pick the font then set italics, are there for me to do that?"

So basically can members set up a way so that when they create a post, it will default to a certain font? For instance, if I click "reply" I want it to type my words in size=10 arial.

It could be possible with css, can you tell which version you are using? Link to your forum please?

Hi Sanket. I'd also like to be able to do this please. For my forums, I'd like to set a default text font for replies and p.m's, a default font colour and font size if possible.

Hello,

You can do it but the font preferences will be the same for all members. Members can't set their preferred font style as default separately.

If you add CSS for 12px Verdana, all your members will get this font style as default. Of course, they can change it with options available on post.

Hi ankillien. Thanks very much for replying. So, does that definitely mean it can't be set differently for Administrators and Moderators? I'm a bit surprised that it's not possible. :-(

No, it cannot be set different for admins and mods.
You can change your default font style via CSS but it will be same for all.

Hi Sanket. It's not solved but, if you agree with ankillen that it's not possible to do what I'd asked, then you may as well close the topic.

Hopefully it's something that can be looked at as a future development perhaps?
