Mass PM Empty Mass PM

Post by Luky July 26th 2007, 2:03 pm

I would like to send a Private Message to all of the users registered on my forum by I don't know how. I know that I can send messages to users that are on a Group, but I would like to send a message to everybody(users who are on groups and users who aren't a member of any group) How can I do that? I thought that if I create a Group and add everybody to it, then I can send My message to that group and they will all receive it. But this means that I will have to manually add everybody. Is there another way? Or maybe a way to create a group and every new user that register is automatically a member of that group? Is it possible? I would be very thankful for an answer!

if you want to spend a year of work you could put all the users in a group named users and make the group hidden

Well yes that was exactly what I said. But I was wondering if there is an option of some sort which will allow all the new registered members to ab automatically added to group. Does this option exist? Or at least something close to it. If it doesn't exist I would suggest to the people who created forumotion to add this option in the following releases.

This is a three year old topic. Please don't bring up old topics just to get a post count to be able to PM.
