[need help] changing text size

hey
i had an exploiter on my forum today who tried to use a phpbb2 exploit .
i banned him and then i changed my version to phpbb3.
but now the text size changed to 10 (!) .
i changed it to 3 and saved.
but then it still said 'main text size 10' although i saved it!
is this something with the hacker?
what can i do to change it to little?

Which text are you exactly trying to change? Screenshot would help.

i know where the problem lies.
in the homepage message i made the text size to 3.
and i added <span> function.

and now, the whole site has text size 3 and is scrolling around.
so the problem is, that the homepage message is for the whole site...

NOTE: this is only on internet explorer.

EDIT: yo it works again

the problem was following:

in phpbb2 you can set the font size in your homepage message to anything.

problem was, i changed to phpbb3 and this version does not support changing text sizes in the message.
when i deleted the font sizes, all worked again.
