Rank in usergroup

Cam i put rank option in Usergroup of board?

I don't understand You mean : when a member is add in a group, he get a rank ? It's not currently possible, you have to do this manually

Is it possible to allow all users to change their own ranks?

well if you allow them to change their own ranks, this is asking for trouble, let a member make themself a mod?
or if you mean rank images, 1 rank image works on everyone with that rank, they change 1 and every1 changes, also if they can it means they are admin, so its a security issue.

i was at a forum where mods can change ranks, smilies & blocked words,
for a joke he changes the ranks and added normal words in the block to be replaced with foul language,
the result, alot of swearing in posts that wasnt meant to be there, it was upsetting for admin & the ladies, so he was banned after the damage was done

I have just started a new forum and want to make a couple of people moderators / admin. When I change their details to reflect this it only changes in the Admin section. They are not able to do anything on the forum. Can anyone help?

did you change their permissions too?
you can add them to forum sections in permissions or add them to a group
