question about contributions

I just want to know is it against the rules for me to put up a contribution link on my forum to MY OWN PAYPAL?


Not for my personal gains its in order to purchase items for attending car show purposes.


I just need to know if this is allowed or not?

No, that isn't moral. People are donating to you for the forum, but then you are not spending the cash on the site, rather personal benefits.

I have. If you tell them its for your own benefit, then its ok, but really, telling them its for the forum, and then using it for personal means isn't really moral.

Ok, maybe this is my fault for not explaining I set up a honda forum!

When car shows run during the summer other sites have marquees and flags to advertise and perk up their stands, these can cost thousands!

If I were using it for my personal benefit I would just say so!


I am advertising on the site how much we have and how much items cost!! & any money that is left will go on stickers for cars to avertise the site!
