Adding Clock to Forum
I am trying to add a clock to my forum index page but to no avail. I have used HTML codes but they won't work. How do I activate my HTML code on my forum for the portal and the forum index page. (I don't mean activating HTML codes in registered guests posts.)
My forum is http://runandgunwarfare.forumotion.net/index.htm and if you notice under the HIT COUNTER on this page, I have a script that won't register an image for a clock due to HTML (I believe) not being activated.
<script src="http://www.clocklink.com/embed.js"></script><script type="text/javascript" language="JavaScript">obj=new Object;obj.clockfile="5015-blue.swf";obj.TimeZone="EST";obj.width=150;obj.height=38;obj.wmode="transparent";showClock(obj);</script>
<embed src="http://www.clocklink.com/clocks/5015-blue.swf?TimeZone=EST&" width="150" height="38" wmode="transparent" type="application/x-shockwave-flash">
Neither one works. How do I activate it please?!?

Re: Adding Clock to Forum
Administration Panel >> Modules >> Portal & Widgets >> Forum widgets management, If you want to Display forum widgets then click Yes, Now scroll down and you will see this in Gold "Create a widget" click on it and you will see this.
Then scroll down again to Addition/deletion of personal widgets and you will see a box with name Affiliates click on it and find the Forum Clock then hit the green 1 Add the Widget that's all then you will see the Forum Clock on the Forum widgets management then Save and your done.
Good Luck and have fun

Re: Adding Clock to Forum
Thanks for the quick reply but if you look on my forum right now, it shows this:
<embed src="http://www.clocklink.com/clocks/0018b-blue.swf?TimeZone=EST&" width="150" height="150" wmode="transparent" type="application/x-shockwave-flash"> in place of where the clock should be. How do I activate the HTML code for widgets??
One more thing, I have a phpbb2 forum.

Re: Adding Clock to Forum
Well..........thanks for your help BlueSky but I already have that checked. In my Admin Panel>General>Messages and Emails>Configuration> I have checked yes to both Allow HTML and BBCode and it still doesn't work.
Thanks for your help anyway. I guess I'll have to try to figure something else out....maybe find a forum clock that allows BBCode cuz that seems to work on our forum but not HTML.

Re: Adding Clock to Forum
enable html on your profile as well, just like signature was enabled, but for security reasons don't do it.
So do it like this in admin panel > Announcements or homepage message, put the code and add this to adjust placement
<span style="padding-left:110px"></span>

Hello!
Do not know if I run the exact location of his post, but I worry and pray for help. Enter in your forum, but it shows me the home page categories.: (
Show them no problem, but after adjusting some settings gone (categories). The bad is that I do not remember what I clicked. Sorry to bother, but count on you.
Here is the forum please help me mi.http: / / colorforum.bulgarianforum.net

Re: Adding Clock to Forum
first of all delete the clock code, there's problem with that. and don't make any other changes.
EDIT : Oh , ok I understood,
Check if the announcements are still scrolling.
like its written there enable scroll
left right
up down deactivate
So deactivate scrolling in announcement
