or have you got so many, that you dont want new members?

removing it is like removing log in/out.

Sorry, I was't really available lately because I'm very busy because of the tutorial updates. Because of the holidays, I am the only one available in the English staff for the English translations.

To remove the Register button : Admin Panel > User Admin & Groups > User & Forum Settings > Allow new members > No

You replace the button's URL by this address : https://2img.net/i/empty.gif (this is a transparent 1*1 button).

Then in Admin Panel > General Admin > Headers > you move the Register button at the end of the navbar.

You are talking about implementing paying code for registration. Because I'm not sure about the legality, I advise you to wait for Roadhog's answer before doing this. I will contact him. He has been promoted juridical consultant lately and we plan to open a juridical help section this month.

I just don't know if it's legal or not becaue I know nothing about laws, that's why I call for a juridical consultant's answer. I just want to be sure you won't get trouble.

ok in brief, as far as im aware, and i have been on several forum providers,
if you are using a Free Board (we are) you are not allowed to have any sort of payment on you forum, (you can not charge members) is this is a Free service,
on advanced hosting (you pay for the privilege's) you can, because this helps the upkeep,
on a Free board there is no upkeep/payments

Because our juridical consultant won't be there for almost two weeks, I ask another JC from the French side and here's the answer.

Finally, you can do it, but you have to declare it here since Forumotion is under French laws : http://www.cnil.fr/index.php?id=4
