i cannot or dont know how to display my categories

Can anyone tell me how i can display my categories, i put some categories up put they don't dissepear on the forum...

Admin panel>Display>Structure and hierarchy>Split categories on index>choose Medium or Full

thx for help , this prob sound nooby but when i'm at display i can't find structure and hierarchy :S

Make sure you are on advanced mode.
Its in Display>Homepage>Structure & hierarchy

To go to Advanced mode
Admin panel>General>find Advanced
