Shot and simple how do i make is so recently replied to topics are bumped to the top of the forum.

admin pane>general>forums

click on the forum and make sure you have.
Sort topics by : Topic's post's date (most recent in first)
and
Sort the posts of a topic by : Post's date (most oldest in first)

then hit save.
