Guest only forum

I wanted to make a section only for guests, not for members to see, as it would clutter everything up. Anyone know how to make it so that it can do it?

Well, if you allow it for guests, automatically they are allowed for members. Hence not possible to do.

well until a member is logged in they are technically a guest.
so they will see the board when there not logged in. but you can set the permissions for members not to see the forum once they are logged into the forum but you will have to have all registered members in a group.

i would just call the group registserd members. you will have to place them in there when they register or you can have them be sent to the group auto when they make a post.

but like i said when a member is not logged in they will still see the guest forum.
so it dose seem kind of pointless but your forum you have it how you like.

so just allow guest to view certain forums but not post.
then if you want to allow a forum where they can post open one up.
