Couple of questions changing versions

Whenever I changed from Phpbb2 to any other version I wanted, like Invision or Punbb, there were some major visual bugs. Like going from it to Invision:

1. How do I get the Nav Bar to stay in single file like on Phpbb2?
2. How do I get rid of all that white bars?
3. How do I keep the same font on Phpbb2 when switching to Invision
4. How do I fix the overlapping of the category images.

Okay, first of all you can't have the same skin & change versions via the admin panel. It will look bugged & shabby. Its always advised to install skins directly from hitskin.com.

Ok, so if I installed a new skin, I could then work around it like I did with Phpbb2?

Like when I started my forum, I did all of that customization. I could just do the same when I switch to Invision.

Yes you will have to redo the customization such as changing the navbars etc.

I tried making a new forum to test it out, so I don't mess up mine, and I can't seem to get it the same way.

Get it the same way means? You are talking on random terms, please explain in detail to the point.
