PDF upload? Empty Re: PDF upload?

Hello,

I'm sorry but this is not presently possible here on forumotion Wink

However, it shouldn't be too much longer until it is possible, as the word from the official's is that it's in the next update (Which isn't too far away).

In the mean time, I do suggest that you google up some .pdf file, .doc, .docx ect file uploaders.

We don't know if Forumotion is doing it. Was never said but a hint but could have changed. We will see when the update comes out.

@Johnson8537 We aren't sure but if it does come out they will tell us.

I can but there are others who are not as tech savy and moving from site to site can be confusing for some. I was just hoping that it would be an integrated future.

Post by ecatodarcus March 12th 2010, 7:58 pm

hello there!
that's my first post. i have the same problem as above. i want to upload files like .doc .pdf etc. i understand that i can not do it through servimg, so i have an account to mediafire.com, i upload files there and provide to my members the link. What i want to do is to make easier for my members to upload their files into a folder in my mediafire account or into forum. Does anyone knows how i can do so?
thank you in advance

ps sorry for my English, but i have a long time to exercise them

hi there!
what i found is this:
1)make an account in http://goaruna.com/. it offers unlimited storage space and your account will be deleted unless you enter once every six months.
2) paste that code
Code:
<a href="http://goaruna.com/****">"A little phrase you wish"</a>
in your template wherever you wish (i prefer after the text box in the "add reply" section). The **** part is found in your goaruna acount if you do these my Files->Inbox->help.
3)Every file your members send you can be copied to your storage space and then you provide them the link

Do you like it? Was that helpful?

I hope i help you

you can always add something like this

Code:
<embed src="http://www.megaupload.com/filebox/?t=2&c=2&u=13178909.3b6dda5d12" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="350" height="90" wmode="transparent"></embed>

And if you are using phpbb2 or punnbb versions you can even add it right to you subject post for when members are creating their post.

like i have over here in this example.See in my options i have the upload box, image venue and tiny pic. here
