Is there an option for just pages, not discussion?

Ok, so I was trying to make just another page with html page managment. I was just putting text, and a few pictures on it. So, I added that, but when I clicked the done button, it said "Error! Pages_html". Is there another way I can make pages, or how can I fix this?

I actually didn't put a code. Just two images, and some text. But is there a needed code for only text and images?

Those are 2 words I was not using. But, there IS no image links. You must've read my post wrong, here is a better explanation:
I am trying to put text, not an image, as an HTML page, is this possibly, or is there another way to make an extra page?

Could you inform us of the code ( Thats text, images ect exactly how you had it in the html page ) your trying to use?

I am not sure what you are asking what you want either, but we had things we wanted on our forum that we did not want to be put open for discussion. So we created either a category, added our info, then locked it. Or in a forum, did it as announcement or sticky, and locked it.

If it is to display on the homepage you could do as a widget, but that wraps down according to column width.

My take on page creation you need the codes, or need to know how to present your text within coded format. Maybe that would be way to go. I found a useful thing in hints and tips. Am sure there was page creation tips in there.

Sorry not interfering with darren1's advice, but hope this helps. As we had similar issues.
