"Password did not match" when promoting a user?

I am giving this user a special rank. When I enter it and lick save, it says "Password did not match" but it isn't even asking me for one. . . Help?

You would do as Lizzard's screenshot represents; Just remove the dots from the password location.
Don't worry, it doesn't remove or change the password at all, it just alleviates the problem

You are using chrome i guess. Try any other browser like firefox, it shall work then.
