Limit of 65000 topics

There is a rumour stating that if you don't use pruning, and keep all topics and post, the forum will crash once it reaches 65000 topics.

Is this true? I can't find any information about this, and I really believe it's just a rumour, but want to check anyway, just to be sure.

Is there no one that can answer this? Will the forum crash when it reaches 65000 topics?

These are the only two limits I can find that has the number 65000 in it:
Characters in the messages: 65000 characters (Including spaces)
Characters in HMTL pages: 65 000 characters

Yes, there isn't really such a limit of 65000 threads. Maybe that guy is making up. because thats the official limits of forumotion.
