How do I change the picture beside the forum address?

it won't change, I want my own picture, does it have to be saved in a particular format?

You can paste the following code in your FORUM DESCRIPTION located in the ACP > General > Configuration

Replace YOURimgURL with your img url.

You put it in the "Forum favicon" field, not the "Site description" field. Without any code.

So in "Forum favicon" you put in: https://2img.net/h/oi48.tinypic.com/i6cyuc.png

How long should it take to change, it's just got the internet explorer icon beside it now

It should change immediately :O Try to refresh again. And make sure there's no misspelling in the link.

It's still there, I checked that everything was right I even tried changing the png. to ico. and its still there

Maybe it's just your browser... Or uh... Link to your forum? xD

Try holding the shift while refreshing. There is a good chance you are not seeing the change since the favicon for the site is in your cache.

I'm just about to change over to my other computer and try it with Firefox

I'm on Chrome and he's on IE... I know it didn't work on his IE and not on my Chrome either... :| Does Firefox work?
