Forum ''On Holiday'' ?

Hello guys. A forum i am in has a problem..
In 30 May no members could reply to topics because the forum was (and still is) ''On Holiday''
But our Admin hasn't log on for about 20 days, and he is not even in the members connected in the last 99 hours, so i do not think we got hacked...
Because our admin is away for some time,as a moderator i posted this here, in case someone knows what happens or encountered the same problem

The admin needs to log in to change this.

ACP > General > Configuration (i think)

Yeah but this could not have benn done by the admin because he haven't logged on in a long time..i want to learn how this happened Smile

Try and Email the Admin of your forum and see if he has gave the rights to a mod to enter the admin page or pm them if you can still log on the forum.

Yeah i know, i already tried to find him
What i wanna learn is not how to change it but how that happened!
It wasn't like the forum manually gone on holiday, because as i said our admin, haven't logged on for about a month!
So is it because the admin hasn't log on for a lot of time or of another reason ?

Judging from this case, you said the Admin has not logged in in more than two weeks, no?
Is there another admin connected within? Or maybe hidden Admin? You have to consider these things too, as Admins not just founder can changes the settings such 'forum on holiday' and stuffs.
Please tell us about it.
