footer edit

I run phpBB2 so have templates etc etc, could somone give me the code and tell me where to shove it? as you see all the links that are at the bottom of the page are there so I'm not removing anything just making it more eye pleasing.

I've seen others ask and get told they can as long as they keep all the links, which I am. I really don't see why I wouldn't be able to do this as its keeping within the terms.

I don't think any staff member gave such info. If you want to risk your forum's existence on such information provided by any member, its upto you.

Oh and for your footer i would consider leaving the report abuse.
Anyone who reports something from that link it will go to you.So this way if something was to be reported you can see what was reported and take care of any problems instead of someone haveing to send it to litigation's to were you would never see the report.

so you may want to keep that.

and This Forum has its footer edited and is still there.

There has been misconception about the exact rules. Its never clearly stated.

As i said, if you want to risk your forum's existence based on this. You are free to go ahead & do it.

MrMario and Sanket, some of the most active Forumotion forums have their footers slightly edited. As long as the links are still together at the bottom of every page I don't really see the problem. Confused

Thats what I mean, thank you. I'm not removing any just rearranging them.
