Problems with smilies

Since last week, myself and quite a few members of my forum, have only been able to put a smilie at the end of the last sentence we write. If I want to insert one before posting, elsewhere in the text, it still ends up at the end.

The browsers affected are Chrome, Firefox and IE.

Any ideas?

This happens on all forumotion forums. I happens with all BBcode tags as well. To this point, there isn't anything you can do about it.

But surely something must have changed, when we all didn't have this problem before now?

Its always been like this. It also happens on other forum host.

I came here for the same question. I am not disagreeing to start anything but I agree with the original poster. I have had my forum for over a year and my members and myself have always been able to put the smilies any where we wanted to. My problem also started last week. It tends to make me think that maybe a update or something has done this.

I have had my forum for two years and never had a problem until today...

Old post and new post are coming up with codes of the smilies on our forum rather than the smiley itself..

Help please as something has changed for this to happen !

Ours are acting up too, but only those smilies linked in our gallery albums

ETA: no.. some smilies are showing up as code only as well

Smiles are having problems and will be fixed tomorrow.
