My favicon disappears after a few...

My favicon disappears after a few hours, if not less. How do you make your custom favicon permanent?

There is no favicon added as off now.

How do I make it permanent?

You can add forum favicon on admin panel > general > configuration > Forum favicon and you can put it there > after that, save the changes, it'll be permanent after you completed those steps.

I uploaded it as a non .ico and its permanent now.. I think
