Lost Backup Password

Hey there, I am having a problem with accessing the forum back up. I know that I am at the right page, and I know that I have the right email, but I seem to have forgotten the original password that was used at my sites creation. Now, I would like the back my site up, but I need the original password, which I don't have, so is there any way for me provide proof the the webmaster account, or some proof that I own the site in order to get a new one, or to get the original one retrieved. Or do you recommend some other way to make this work?

Click on the image in my signature that say Lost Password.

Ok, after I do that, is it reset to the current password? Or how does that work...
