Animated buttons (on mouseover) trough CCS

Hi again, I have another question, this time related to the creation of buttons that change image on mouseover...

I am trying to improve the apearence of my forum and I've thought to create butons that change on mouse over... I've found this great CCS tuturial that explains how to create them:

(sorry but it's only avaliable in Portuguese... at least you can understand the code)

The thing is that I've tried to insert the code (the last one on the link above) in the CCS modification, adapting the code to my page (image adresses and the button's name and link) and I can't make it work.

Can I create buttons such as these trough CCS or any other way (beside trough General Admin - Page headers configuration - Add a link)... I mean, a button that changes it's image on mouseover.

If so can I replace the Page header's buttons whit this ones?

I think you could do it trough HTML but I've never tried it.

The simplest way is to get a Flash navigation bar, but up to now, we still don't have any known flasher on this English side, while there are many flashers on the French side...

I do have a little background in Flash, but not enough to make a menu. Sorry!

I don't know much of Flash programming my self but seems a great Idea to have a flash menu on my forum (when I manage to get time to learn how to).

For now I am just trying to get my oGame forum running... I already know (after reading the FAQ) how to make the Page header disappear and I was wondering If you could tell me what's wrong whith the Button's CCS Code on the page linked above... it seems fine to me but it doesn't work!

... do I have to put it in any particular place of the CCS code's page?

I've created regular buttons (in portuguese) and I'll manage whith those for a while.
