Do you mean in hitsskin ?

if you do mean that then do this!

Go to Hitskin.com then find the layout you want to addand then put your site url in Forum address box and click Preview that will then give you the the URL at the top of the page.

then click back 2 or 3 times and then pick your 2nd and 3rd one and do the same again.

Hope i was of some help

Post by AlphaPkz June 2nd 2010, 12:57 am

I have some questions if anybody that can answer it will be appreciated Very Happy.

Q #1 - Is this only available on phpBB2/PunBB?

Q #2 - For the codes, did we have to type it out because I only see images of the code you need and no text that I can C+P.

Thanks in advance Razz.

@ alpha & Rianna, I'm sorry about that, not everything copied over last night.
Oh, the image isn't the full code either Razz

The amendments should be hopefully made shortly by Typlo.

Sorry about the delay

Yes, I know that one to Wink
But it loads slow, that's because you can cut another part of the link, like this:
www.yoursite.com/forum.htm?change_temp=1
It'll load faster that way Wink

But anyway, everytime you'll post, the skin will change to it's default :|

Ok i have worked all night long to get this to work and i just cant work it out ..Sad

I pm'ed Darron1 and he said i have to do it just dow it is on the 1st post i have redone that and added it to my site but still nothing

This is the codes i have set
Code:
var type = getCookie('template1');
var temsel = document.getElementById('temsel');
temsel.innerHTML ='<select onchange="changeskin(this.options[this.selectedIndex].value);window.location.reload();"><option> Choose your theme  </option><option value="valeur1"> Main site look1</option><option value="valeur2">blue 2 </option><option value="valeur3"> red 3 </option></select>';

if (type == 'valeur1')
{
  document.write('<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="http://achatworld.darkbb.com/-ltr.css">');
}
else if (type == 'valeur2')
{
  document.write('<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="http://achatworld.darkbb.com/129347-ltr.css">');
}
else if (type == 'valeur3')
{
  document.write('<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="http://achatworld.darkbb.com/129348-ltr.css">');
}

function changeskin(change) {
  var scheme = change;
  var name = 'template1';
  var pathname = location.pathname;
  //var myDomain = pathname.substring(0,pathname.lastIndexOf('/')) +'/';
  var ExpDate = new Date ();
  ExpDate.setTime(ExpDate.getTime() + (180 * 24 * 3600 * 1000));
  setCookie(name,scheme,ExpDate,'/');
}
function getCookie(name){
  var cname = name + "=";
  var dc = document·cookie; if (dc.length > 0) { begin = dc.indexOf(cname); if (begin != -1) { begin += cname.length; end = dc.indexOf(";", begin); if (end == -1) end = dc.length; return unescape(dc.substring(begin, end)); } } return null; } function setCookie(name, value, expires, path, domain, secure) { document·cookie = name + "=" + escape(value) + ((expires == null) ? "" : "; expires=" + expires.toGMTString()) + ((path == null) ? "" : "; path=" + path) + ((domain == null) ? "" : "; domain=" + domain) + ((secure == null) ? "" : "; secure"); }

and i have got this in the Site description * :

Code:
<span id=temsel></span><script type=text/javascript src=http://achatworld.darkbb.com/skin-h1.htm></script>

can some one go over this and tell me where i have gone wrong ?? Sad

Question!

When you say "=> Proceed to step 2 now" does that mean to SKIP ahead? If so, what do you skip ahead to? I see section 2.3, and 2.4, but I don't see something labeled as JUST "step 2".
