New member not appearing, yet profile showing them as Admin!

I received an e-mail saying a member called "crazymomma9" signed up. Their profile shows them as an admin, if I attemp to ban them it says cannot ban admin. Yet they aren't in the member list, or any of my admin lists such as permissions! It's bothering me, did someone hack into my board?!?

Inactive users can only be seen in Admin Panel > User Admin > Inactive users. There you can select the members you want to activate.

This measure has been taken because we had many abusive registrations by spambots who put their porn or medicine links in their profiles (we had more than 120 of them on this board...)

I have no idea what is going on. I found them, and activated them. But they still weren't showing up then I followed the link I got in my e-mail when they joined

and now it says they don't exsist at all.

I had the exact same thing happen as Isabel_Kitty, except the member's name is MyxaVzope. They aren't in the Member List, and they have the colour of Admin. My forum only has 5 members but I've never needed to 'activate' any before.

What should I do, then? Just check the profile before activating? PM them to see if they're real? Ban them?
