Private Messaging Limit

Several members of my forum wish to have more space in their inbox, especially admins and moderators. We all get so many PMs that a lot of them are lost, and having them automatically deleted is very frustrating. I'd like to know whether there is some way of raising the 50-PM limit within member's "inbox" and "sentbox".
I have tried using the Search feature to find any other topics that might answer my question, but to no avail.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm sorry but you can only store up to 50 PM's at any one stage.
However, if you choose to not delete them, then the PM coujnter just goes higher & higher, such is my PM counter here; sitting at 1766, but only 50 PM's in my inbox

Aww, that's a real bummer. Is there any reason why it's limited?

don't know but you can always keep some in your saves to save some inbox space . if it exceeds to much you can add old ones to note pad and save .

Could be due to a technical side of things.
