News letter notification never happen !
Hello.
I like to know if I can write to someone and point all the errors I have on my forum.
Its more and more happen, one day I think the forum stop to work totally !!
This time is the news letter :
"Here you can email a message to either all of your users or all users of a specific group. To do this, an email will be sent out to the administrative email address, with a blind carbon copy sent to all recipients. If you are emailing a large group of people please be patient after submitting and do not stop the page halfway through. It is normal for a mass emailing to take a long time and you will be notified when the script has completed."
This never happen !!
When I click send, the page reload and thats it !! No more information.
I can describe a very big list of things not working in my forum and I am tiered to open topic over and over and be left with no answer to my questions.
Can some one direct me about this ?
Thank you.

Re: News letter notification never happen !
I think I understand what you are saying. Users aren't getting the newsletter? Some email services block newsletters which we can't control. Users will need to allow Forumotion emails.

Hi.
You didn't understand my question.
"mass emailing to take a long time and you will be notified when the script has completed."
This never happen !!
It send the emails, but I do not have any confirmation and usually to email nearly 600 people, dont take long, the only thing happen when I click (send) is just refreshing the page and no notification about the emails happen.
Clear ?
Now am here with a new question...
What do I have to do, to change the (share) link for a button ?
In wish file are this link ?
Thanks

Re: News letter notification never happen !
Well an answer to your first question: Some notifications sometimes find their way into the spam folder. Try checking there.
I also recommend not sending 600 emails all at once. It's too overwhelming no matter what email service you use. Try sending about 50 at a time. Don't try to rush it (unless you seriously have to).
Lastly, I think "long time" means what it means. How long did you wait for the notification? If you waited a half hour it's going to take a little longer. Again, it's 600 emails all at once. It's GOING to take some time.

Re: News letter notification never happen !
Hi. Thanks for your replay.
I think is a misunderstanding here:
When I say is no notification, I mean... I click send and the page only reloads but is no time wait or notification to let me know the news letter was send.
It only reloads the page and take me back to the news letter.
(anyways, I know the news letter is send , so this do not represent a problem but on other hand is confusing because I am never shore if the news letter was send or not)
again, if I want to send the news letter in small groups, is no way to make that happen. Is no option for that
I wait no time for the notification.
I do not receive any notification.
Page only reloads and thats it !

Re: News letter notification never happen !
Well since you're so sure about having the newsletter sent out then I guess it was sent out. Maybe you just didn't get a notification sent to you. I did this for my forum at one point and it gave me the same problem but one of my members told me he received it.
