My widgets only appear on my home page but I want them to appear on my portal instead. I don't know how to customise your portal. Someone please help.

First make sure you have activated your portal. Then go to your Admin panel and go to Modules. Click on Portal and then Structure, you should be able to see the widgets you have and where they are placed.
