Importing Widgets

I tried to import a widget into my forum. I am not experienced in code so I copied the code and pasted it into the create a widget page. However, the widget does not show in my forum....the code does. What am I doing wrong.

I am not technically inclined sorry if this is a stupid question.

I'm not sure if having the HTML button clicked when you pasted your code matters.

If what you're seeing is the second image, click the red X beside/behind HTML, then click "back to prevoius window" when the success message comes up. You should then see my first image. Copy your code and paste it there
