Unwanted Ad Banner

Greetings;

This banner ad showed up and I really do not want it there. It is on the Portal, Home, and any forum page I have created.
The site is for English people and the Banner is in french all the time.
How do I dispose of it and stop it from coming back?



Any help on this would be greatly appreciated, and when you do if it is in CSS that I must get rid of this could you please be extremely detailed in your instructions.
I am a noob at using CSS and as such have a very hard time with it.
Step by step instructions would be appreciated.

Hi, Please try this:

Admin Panel > General > Configuration > Activate ads : For guests only > Save

Sometimes, the option won't work and the ads will still show up because Forumotion doesn't have control over the ads so if you want them completely gone, you can remove them by credits via admin panel.

Awesome dude that 1st thing you suggested cured the problem
In case they should show up again I will Favoritize this page for the other solution you posted.
