Hello,

First of all, I started a Lineage II clan 2 years + ago, and it is now a top clan in this game.

At the time I knew nothing about websites, or anything, and we needed a forum fast for our growing clan.

So I had a member who is NO longer with us found me a provider, and set it up, and here we are!!!

PROBLEM is he went missing a few weeks after he set this up, but I do have full admin rights, me, and me only, BUT, you have changed the option for themes where only the founder may change the theme, which screws me. I am the leader of the clan, and Ventrilo, and the only Admin of this site.

This all can be proven by what has been done to the site over the past 2 years, like statistics, moderation, and stuff has all been recorded, and done by me.

I can't lose control of this site, nor do I wanna lose the forums, or the topics currently on it!!!

Is there any way you can transfer ownership of this site to me, as there is absolutly no way for me to contact this guy. He created a e-mail just for the forum set-up, and him, nor I have access to that e-mail anymore, it was a g-mail account now closed.

I made posts earlier which relate to my issues with my theme, and I decided to just change the theme like I have before, but now I get a " FOUNDER may only change the theme. " message!!! Which is very bad news for me.

Hopefully you can help me with this!!!!

I really hope you can transfer Founder rights to me, or assist me somehow with this, or my forum dies, and I really wanna keep it up!!!

Love FreeForums.net, dunno how I woulda kept my clan together until now without it!!!

I really don't want to have to leave this provider, or change my domain name!!!

Well I managed to find a way to change the theme to fix my issue, but I am still curious if this can be done, so I have full control of my site.

If you would like to make a request to change the founder due to his/her absence from the forum, then please read this topic: https://help.forumotion.com/frequently-asked-questions-f5/recovery-or-change-founder-of-an-account-t81878.htm

Of course, there are rules and requirements in which you and your forum must fulfill in order for the transferal of the founder account to be carried out. More information is available in the topic itself.
