Half-hour Interval Timezones Empty Half-hour Interval Timezones

Post by Envy661 March 15th 2011, 8:05 am

One of my members to my site requested we do timezones in half hour intervals instead of full hours.
Their time zone doesn't fall into any listed.
Their timezone is GMT 10.5 hours +
Their country is labeled as Australia.

Hi,

Indeed Australia is in the list, I know for a fact Wink

Get the member to go to Profile > Prefs > Time Zone > And choose the minute he's on.
Most of us Aussies are on GMT 10+ or GMT 9.5

Australia doesn't have a GMT +10.5, unless ofcause their in the ocean Razz

It is the timezone he listed himself, so I can only assume he is correct in it. After all, if he said 10 and 11 were both a half hour off of his timezone (his exact words), I have no choice but to try to help him set his timezone.

Perhaps there is an isle off the coast of Australia that may have said timezone?

Thanks.
Just letting you know, if it's Perth, he should select +9.0, Brisbane, +9.5, Sydney, or the others, +10 (Unless their ahead, which no-one else is infront of Sydney in Daylight savings)
If he's in Hobart, well, honestly, I don't know that time, But he can Google it Wink
