1. where could i get the style of forumotion regarding the spoiler tag
and the code box?
it is very sleek and simple...
i love it
2. is it possible to have a color palette for font color selection
i've read the 'adding colors by template editing'
but its not what im looking for

well, it works!! and another thing, i edited the code you gave and set the width to 100%, and color to suite the background..gonna customize it more thanks!
Just checking, with that, can u edit posts, reply to posts and everything, as per normal using BBCodes and such, or are they removed?

The trick that was with my original one, is that it replaces the codebox with a textarea. The purpose of this was to walk around the fact that normally, text cannot be selected -- unless it's in a textarea.
Hey, if Dion comes by -- don't be too harsh
The orginal select content script shouldn't work at all -- there is no "CODE" tag on phpBB2 boards.
As for BBCodes being removed, the reason is probably the script conflicting, or the selector simply selecting too much.
