Limit to amount of search results?

Hi

Ive just needed to find some posts from February, and when I searched the user it only found 257 posts, 8 pages worth...she has over 2000 posts since last August!!

So I have checked and its the same with every user... will only find 257 posts (8 pages of posts)

I also use google search on my forum - and that is finding exactly the same amount

Yet it will search older stuff as if I put a specific thread title in from ages ago it find it fine

I have resynced the forum - its the same result

Is there a limit set on the forum or something? Can it be changed as its very annoying and I am sure it hasn't always done that?

It will only show 9 pages. I have looked at the Graphic Designers post to see what all they made and it will only do 9.

hmmm that is odd because it was definitely only 8 pages last night...and now its 18 pages ...but still 257 posts

Mine won't even search that many- this function is bloody useless!
