Make Phpbb3 look like Phpbb2?

Well, first of let me start with a question. Is Phpbb3 less hacker proof than Phpbb2? Is it better?

I love Phpbb3, however Phpbb2 looks so much better! Is their any way I can make it where I can make the posts have more lines. The lines that goes around the posts, that give it a nice look.

Maybe done in CSS?

For example the line to the right of this posts, goes down, but stops. Then we need another line going across to give it a nice better look.

You have to be more specific and post screen shots or links to something your trying to do.

As far as if a version is less hacker proff then another..

no.. if people can hack banks,government computers and lord knows what else, then nothing is ever a 100% secure.

And phpbb is phpbb, the skins are pretty much the same and will be like each other, also on forumotion it would not matter if you had invision,punnbb or not the skin styles appear more on a phpbb style. i think they are phpbb styles.

Now hits skins is different.

I went to a Phpbb2 version on Htskin, and took a printscreen with my forum preview.

Please look at the lines where a black line goes through it. Thats what I would like, but on Phpbb3.
